K-oZ Collective

The Jazz-Hiphop formation K-oZ Collective joins seven musicians from totally different directions. Dutch lyrics, jazz-influenced hiphopbeats and a diversity of instruments determine the unique sound of this band. At first it was an occasional formation with incidental performances. In this period the name K-oZ Collective was chosen. Now, the first demo CD is recorded. On April 15 K-oZ won first prize in the tenth edition of the Rob Acda Award 2005. Also in Haarlem they performed on National Liberation Pop Festival (Bevrijdingspop 2005) on May 5th. Meanwhile the band has been nominated for the SPITS! Breakthrough Award and was finalist in the Noord-Hollands Glorie Pop Award in Zaandam.
